New Triathlon Association in Germany
Kassel, 2003-10-23. The new triathlon
club 3athlon.org e.V., a new triathlon club that is just being established, went
live with its internet presence today.
A new feature for a sports club is the
strong integration of the Internet with its communication possibilities, in order
to give the future members a firm platform that covers the whole german speaking
region. „On the day of the unofficial
announcement in the 3athlon.de eZine forum, over 50 prospective members came
forward“ says project manager Kai Baumgartner.
Apart from the usual offers of a normal sports club such as the possibility
of obtaining a valid DTU licence over the national association and the possibility
to train at the first local club in Kassel, the internet forums, training help
and much more will be firmly integrated into the association structure.
3athlon.de eZine will co-operate with the club as a sponsor. „All persons
involved are sure that 3thlon.org e.V. will be a success and will enrich the
sports club scene in Germany“ states founding member René Lerch, „By
integrating the club into the menu structure of the leading online magazine for
triathlon in Germany, we have set an important course for the scope of 3athlon.org
